Available in 5 fantastic painted shades of White's & Cream's, this is a first class composite engineered product, manufactured using an MDF outer with a polymer coating which gives the product a very smooth finish.

All our Classic shutters have a tough, splash-resistant polyurethane coating which is resistant to any chipping, cracking or fading in direct sunlight.

The Classic range is available with and without Tilt Rods and comes in all 5 slat sizes; 47mm, 64mm, 76mm, 89mm & 114mm. MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is a wood product created by breaking down timber into a fine powder, which is then mixed with wax and resin to then be able to be formed into panels by applying a very high temperature and pressure. MDF is a very similar material in application to Plywood, but is instead made up of separated fibres, not wood veneers, hence why it has become a mainstay of furniture and cabinet manufacturing over the past 25 years.

All our Classic Shutter panels are manufactured to the highest standards using both mortise and tenon joints which ensure a prolonged quality and longevity of the product. To prevent warping when installed, engineered laminate stiles are inserted inside the wood.

Unfortunately, due to the manufacturing process the Classic range cannot be produced to fit shaped windows or made to a custom colour.
